Finding us from Bankstown

Our training room is at 18 Station Street, Kogarah NSW 2217 – about 20 minutes and 13.5 km from Bankstown, generally via Stacey Street and King Georges Road. It is the longest drive of the routes we publish, and King Georges Road is a genuinely busy arterial, so give yourself more room than the average suggests for a morning course start.

Driving from Bankstown – about 20 minutes (13.5 km)

1. From Bankstown, head east on Stacey Street towards Punchbowl.
2. Continue to King Georges Road and turn south.
3. Follow King Georges Road south through Beverly Hills and Kingsgrove.
4. Join the Princes Highway and continue towards Kogarah.
5. Turn into Station Street beside Kogarah railway station. Number 18 is a short way along.

Parking near 18 Station Street

Expect metered, time-limited bays on Station Street and the streets around it, plus public car parks in the town centre. Restrictions differ block to block, so match the bay to the length of your session.

Accessible parking and a drop-off point are available close to the entrance. If a participant needs either, tell us when you book rather than on the morning and we will make sure it is clear.

Coming by train or bus

Public transport from Bankstown to Kogarah is not a single service and the fastest combination depends on which connections are running, so check the Transport for NSW trip planner on the day rather than assuming a route. Expect at least one change, and allow considerably longer than the drive.

For a full-day first aid course, most participants from Bankstown drive. If you are arranging training for a team in the Bankstown area, it is usually more practical to have a trainer come to your premises instead – ask about onsite delivery using the enquiry form at the top of this page.

• Your USI. No Unique Student Identifier means no statement of attainment, so create one free before travelling in from undefined
• Something you can move and kneel in for the hands-on assessment
• Pre-course work if your enrolment included it, and your previous certificate for a refresher

Arriving from Bankstown

King Georges Road is the whole story on this route. It is a busy arterial with a long run of traffic lights through Beverly Hills and Kingsgrove, and twenty minutes is an optimistic reading of a weekday morning. For a single participant it is manageable. For a group of six or more from the Bankstown area, having a trainer come to your premises will almost always cost less in lost time than the round trip.
