Finding us from Hurstville

Our training room is at 18 Station Street, Kogarah NSW 2217. From Hurstville it is one of the shortest trips anyone makes to us – about 6 minutes and 2.6 km by car, or three stops on the train. Station Street runs off the Princes Highway a couple of minutes’ walk from Kogarah railway station, which is why most people from Hurstville leave the car at home.

Driving from Hurstville – about 6 minutes (2.6 km)

1. From Hurstville town centre, head east on Forest Road towards Ormonde Parade.
2. Continue on Forest Road until it meets the Princes Highway at Kogarah.
3. Turn onto the Princes Highway heading north-east towards Rockdale.
4. Take the turn into Station Street, on the southern side of Kogarah railway station.
5. Number 18 is a short way along Station Street. Look for on-street parking here or continue to the town centre car parks.

Parking near 18 Station Street

Expect metered, time-limited bays on Station Street and the streets around it, plus public car parks in the town centre. Restrictions differ block to block, so match the bay to the length of your session.

Coming by train or bus

Hurstville and Kogarah are both on the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra line, three stops apart via Allawah and Carlton, so there are no changes. Trains run frequently in both directions through the day and the journey itself is under ten minutes.

From Kogarah station it is a two to three minute walk to 18 Station Street – leave the station on the Station Street side and you are almost there. Buses also run between Hurstville and Kogarah along Forest Road and the Princes Highway if that suits you better. Given how tight parking is at both ends, the train is genuinely the easier option from Hurstville.

• Clothing you can kneel in, because the practical happens on the floor
• Any pre-course learning, plus your existing certificate if this is a renewal

Arriving from Hurstville

Most people from Hurstville arrive by train, which means the last leg is a two-minute walk rather than a hunt for a bay. If you do drive, the Forest Road approach puts you at the Princes Highway junction where Kogarah town centre traffic is heaviest between eight and nine, so the turn into Station Street is the pinch point rather than the drive itself. Give yourself the ten minutes and you will arrive without rushing.
