Finding us from Brighton-Le-Sands
Our training room is at 18 Station Street, Kogarah NSW 2217 – about 9 minutes and 4.1 km from Brighton-Le-Sands, straight across from the Botany Bay foreshore via Bay Street. Brighton-Le-Sands has no railway station of its own, so this is one trip where driving is usually the sensible choice.

Driving from Brighton-Le-Sands – about 9 minutes (4.1 km)
- From Grand Parade at Brighton-Le-Sands, turn onto Bay Street heading inland.
- Follow Bay Street west through Rockdale to the Princes Highway.
- Turn onto the Princes Highway heading south-west towards Kogarah.
- Continue about two kilometres to Kogarah, with the railway station on your left.
- Turn into Station Street beside the station. Number 18 is a short way along.

Parking near 18 Station Street
There is time-limited street parking outside and nearby, and the Kogarah town centre car parks are close. Because St George Hospital fills the area from early, the nearest bays go first – add ten minutes to your drive from Brighton-Le-Sands.
Coming by train or bus
Brighton-Le-Sands has no station. The public transport option is a bus along Bay Street to Rockdale station, then a single stop on the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra line to Kogarah, followed by a two to three minute walk from the Station Street exit. Allow for the connection when you plan the morning.
Buses also run along Rocky Point Road and the Princes Highway if you are coming from the Ramsgate end of the foreshore. For a full-day first aid course, most participants from Brighton-Le-Sands drive – the trip is short and the connection saves little time.

Arriving from Brighton-Le-Sands
Coming off the foreshore, the Bay Street run is straightforward until it meets the Princes Highway, where the queue can be long in the morning peak. Weekends are the opposite problem: the Grand Parade side is busy with beach traffic and getting out of Brighton-Le-Sands takes longer than the rest of the trip. Leave from the inland side of the suburb if you can.
