Hands-on CPR and first aid training for Miranda

Getting to us from Miranda
Our training room is at 18 Station Street, Kogarah – about 14 minutes and 9.8 km from Miranda by car, north along the Princes Highway. Coming from the Kingsway end of Miranda, the simplest run is Kingsway to Princes Highway northbound, then a right into Station Street once you are past Kogarah town centre.
By train it is a straight line with no changes. Miranda station is on the Cronulla branch of the T4 line and Kogarah is on the same line, so you step off the train and walk a couple of minutes to the door. That makes the train the easier option for anyone who would rather not deal with Highway traffic or parking on a weekday morning. If you are driving, there is street parking on Station Street and the surrounding blocks plus the public car parks in Kogarah town centre, and we recommend allowing an extra ten minutes at the start of a course day.

If your role description says “first aid officer”, or your workplace needs someone who can manage the whole incident and not only the resuscitation, HLTAID011 is the one to enrol in.
The other thing worth knowing before you book: the CPR unit is the component that needs refreshing most often, which is why so many people in Miranda do the full first aid course once and then come back for the CPR unit on its own. Check the expiry on your current certificate rather than the date you sat the course – they are rarely the same thing.
